Why we started this
A few years ago the pest control landscape in this county looked local. Increasingly it is not. Companies that spent decades building a name here have been bought by national operators, and the sign on the truck stayed the same while the decisions moved somewhere else. Meanwhile out-of-town crews work the subdivisions door to door in the summer, sign people to twelve-month agreements, and are gone by September.
There is nothing wrong with a big company. There is something wrong with a market where a homeowner's only choices are a call centre or a one-person operation with a full calendar.
This company exists in the gap between those two. Local ownership and local accountability, with enough staff and enough systems that your service does not depend on one person's week.
The founder spent twenty years in digital marketing and owns rental property in this county — which is a roundabout way of saying he has been the customer here, has read the invoices, and has strong opinions about being sold to at his own front door. Those opinions are why the pricing is on the website and why there is no contract to sign.

Where the name comes from
Elizabethtown is the seat of Kentucky's Lincoln Trail region — the counties along the roads Abraham Lincoln's family travelled through Hardin, LaRue, Meade, Nelson, and Grayson. If you grew up here you know the name from the district, the parkway, and about forty other things.
We picked it because it is local without being a costume. It says where we are from to people who are also from here, and it will still be accurate when we are serving Vine Grove and Bardstown, which a name built around one city would not be.
Veteran-staffed, and the distinction matters
We are a Department of Defense SkillBridge partner. Soldiers in their final months of service at Fort Knox can train and work here at DoD's expense, learn a licensed trade, and start the experience clock that leads to their own operator certification. Some of them stay on afterward. That is where our technicians come from.
We describe the company as veteran-staffed, which is a factual statement about who works here rather than a marketing line. This is a town where that distinction is understood and where claims get checked, so we make the one we can back — along with a 10% discount that never expires.
Where we are right now
Openly: we are not treating homes yet. Kentucky requires a licensed operator behind any structural pest control company, and that process is underway. Until it is complete we are not booking service, not making promises about start dates we cannot control, and not taking anyone's money.
