What you're actually dealing with
The pests that drive nearly every call in Hardin County are boring and predictable, which is good news. Odorous house ants and pavement ants find a moisture source and a food source and build a trail to it — usually the kitchen, usually in March or April. Wolf spiders and cellar spiders come in behind them, because ants are food. Common questions
- How often do you actually come out?
- Four scheduled visits a year, roughly every three months, timed to the season rather than to the calendar — the spring visit goes heavier on ants and the fall visit goes heavier on rodent exclusion. Plus as many free re-services in between as you need.
- Is the initial service really necessary?
- For most homes, yes. The first visit is substantially more work than a maintenance visit: a full interior and exterior treatment, a perimeter barrier, sweeping eaves and soffits, treating entry points, and identifying the specific pressure your house has. The $99 covers that. Quarterly visits after it are maintenance.
- Do you have to come inside every time?
- No. After the initial service, most quarterly visits are exterior-only, which means you do not need to be home or take time off work. We come inside when there is an active interior problem, or when you ask us to.
- What if I see something a week after you leave?
- Call us and we come back out free, within 48 hours. There is no cap on how many times, and re-services never cost extra. That is the whole point of the plan — you are paying for the outcome, not for a truck to show up four times.
- Is it safe around kids and pets?
- The products are applied at label rates by a licensed applicator, and the areas we treat inside are targeted — cracks, voids, entry points — rather than broadcast across floors where children play. Your technician will tell you which areas to stay off and for how long, usually until dry. If anyone in the house has a specific sensitivity, tell us before the visit and we will adjust the approach.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, for any reason, with nothing owed. There is no annual agreement and no cancellation fee.
